Family Profiles - Mike and Jackie

We are Mike and Jackie and we are taking this opportunity to share with you who we are and what our life is like. We have been married for nearly 14 years in a strong, supportive relationship based on trust, communication and fun! We are grateful for each other, and are eager to share our love and lives with a child.

We each grew up in southern California and we met as college freshmen. We fell in love and married in 1991. Our love grows stronger each day that passes, but we yearn to be parents which to us defines the meaning of family.

Mike is 34 years old, 6'0" with black hair and brown eyes. As a senior consultant with a global consulting firm, he advises boards of directors and executives of large corporations. Mike balances career with personal fun. His passions include surfing, skiing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Jackie is 36 years old, 5'7" with brown hair and brown eyes. She has, for the last eight years, enjoyed her work as producer of a radio talk show. Her creativity and knowledge of politics, social issues, art and literature enable her to produce a show considered thought-provoking and informative. Jackie has a caring heart and family and friends turn to her for advice and support. Jackie likes to exercise mind and body. With Mike, she, too, enjoys surfing, skiing and traveling.

We feel blessed not only to have each other, but wonderful families including our adorable nieces and nephews. Our home is nestled on a hill among trees in the foothills of Los Angeles. Our two sweet dogs enjoy our walks along the quiet, tree-lined neighborhood.

We would be overjoyed to share our life with a precious child. Our home is filled with love and laughter, and we look forward to a child bringing just that much more love and liveliness into our home. We are easy to talk to, outgoing and down to earth, and would like to get to know you and have you get to know us. We are ready to assist you with all permissible medical and living expenses and most importantly, we promise our lifelong commitment to love and nurture your baby.
